Hi,

Yesterday was an exciting day.  It marked the completion of the KEYS Community Center remodel.  To celebrate, KEYS and Childhelp hosted an Open House to honor the donors who have made the KEYS remodel project a reality.  We are so happy that so many were able to attend.  We missed those who were unable to attend.  Your kindness, generosity and love created a happy, enjoyable and most of all , a safe and secure place for the children and staff of KEYS. 

We were honored early on Saturday morning with a visit from Tara Hitchcock of Channel 3’s Good Morning Arizona – complete with film crew (or “a truck” as they call it in the biz).  Tricia McCourt, of Patrick McCourt Fine Furnishings to the Trade, shared the heartwarming story of the KEYS remodel with Tara.  Although, Tara rarely does weekend appearances, she knows KEYS and Deborah Kidd Chapman and the wonderful work they do and was eager to do live spots from inside the Preschool.   Follow this link to see the segments.   Tara will also broadcast additional segments throughout this week on Good Morning Arizona.  Watch for them!

Michael Baxter, of Baxter Imaging, donated his services to take professional photos of the remodel as well as event photos during the Open House.  These photos will be available on the ASID website soon. Look for more information on the photos later this week.

The Arizona Republic is planning an article on the KEY remodel.  Other local publications will be printing photos and articles about this fantastic achievement and what it means to the KEYS community. Watch for these...
